Synopsis
An area of low pressure offshore of the coastal waters will deepen as it pushes toward the northeast tonight. The combination of high pressure building over the Gulf and the deepening low off northeast Florida and southeast Georgia will result in strengthening westerly winds starting overnight and lasting through Friday. Weak ridge of high pressure stretching across the area this weekend will result in moderate southeast winds and seas 5 feet or less offshore. The next front is forecast to approach the Panhandle overnight Saturday and into Sunday.
