Synopsis
High pressure over the western Atlantic will continue to pull away from the peninsula as an area of low pressure moves slowly from the lower Mississippi Valley across the southeast states through early next week. Strong southerly winds and storms will precede the cold front associated with this system Sunday and Sunday night. Gusty west winds will occur behind the front on Monday. High pressure over the Gulf of Mexico will build across Florida Tuesday through Thursday.
