Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Moderate onshore flow will continue early this morning and begin to weaken in the late morning. A strong cold front with a band of showers and possible thunderstorms will arrive this afternoon and develop a strong to very strong offshore flow. Gale force gusts will be possible late this afternoon through the overnight hours over the offshore waters in wake of the frontal passage. Moderate to strong offshore flow will gradually diminish on Sunday and Monday as high pressure builds into Texas. Onshore flow will then develop on Monday night as high pressure quickly moves east of the waters. Moderate onshore flow will then persist on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of an approaching upper level disturbance.
