The Flood Warning continues for
the Black Warrior river at Selden lock and dam.
* Until Wednesday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8 am Tuesday the stage was 93.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 90 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
late Wednesday morning... and then continue to fall after that time.
* Impact... at 94 feet... some secondary roads in the area flood.
Overflow of low lying areas around Selden dam will continue the
next couple of days.

the Tombigbee river at Demopolis lock and dam.
* Until Wednesday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 5 am Tuesday the stage was 69.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 68 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
tonight... and then continue falling the next few days.
* Impact... at 68 feet... flooding of lowlands in the area occurs and
cattle should be moved to higher ground.
