Partly sunny in the morning...then clearing. Not as cool with highs in the upper 50s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
The Flood Warning continues for the Farmington River at Simsbury. * Until Monday evening... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 9:31 PM Sunday the stage was 11.8 feet. * Minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 12.0 feet. * Forecast... rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise to near 12.5 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow early afternoon. * Impact... at 13.0 feet... flooding affects old farms and tolliston roads in Avon... Meadow Road in Farmington... and nod ... Riverside... and Terrys Plain roads in Simsbury. Route 315 in Simsbury is also impacted. Flooding spreads into Plantation Country Club and adjoining town farm Road in Simsbury. Also... flooding will approach the Paine boathouse.
