* Snow accumulations... of 4 to 6 inches is likely. The higher amounts are expected east of a line from Marion to Newton to Wichita. Some isolated higher amounts may be possible.
* Winds... sustained near 30 mph with gusts around 40 mph are expected Friday night through Saturday.
* Impacts... the gusty winds will result in considerable drifting of the heavy wet snow. Some slick spots on roads are expected... especially where heavy snow occurs. The heavy wet snow may cause damage to outdoor vegetation which has already sprouted leaves.
