Shower activity will continue to increase through 930 am CDT this morning across portions of the Permian Basin...western Low Rolling Plains...and southeast New Mexico plains. Isolated lightning strikes will also be possible. Brief heavy rainfall and gusty winds will accompany the stronger storms as they move north northeast around 20 mph. Expect hourly rainfall rates near one tenth inch to one quarter inch.
