At 9 am...an upper level low centered near Shreveport Louisiana was moving slowly east. Areas near and east of Interstate 35 were located in the clouds on the back side of this low...while the sky over the rest of Oklahoma and North Texas was clear. Light snow affected areas east of a line from Shawnee...to Sulphur...to Ardmore. Through this morning...light snow will persist across east central and southeastern Oklahoma...with some light accumulations of up to around one inch expected. With temperatures near or below freezing...some roads may be slick and hazardous. Patches of ice are likely to remain on area roadways this morning through at least noon as temperatures slowly climb above the freezing mark. Winds will be from the north at 20 to 25 mph...with some gusts over 30 mph.
