At 245 PM...regional radars showed an area of moderate to heavy snowfall from Seymour and Wichita Falls Texas...north through Lawton...Hinton...Kingfisher...and Ponca City. This area of snowfall will shift east with time this afternoon...affecting areas from Henrietta Texas and Duncan Oklahoma... north through the Oklahoma City Metro area and Perry by 5 PM. Fairly consistent reports of around two to three inches of snow have come from locations through which this area of snow has already passed. Areas of Oklahoma and North Texas yet to see snow this afternoon can expect amounts similar to these within about three hours. This afternoon...the wind will continue from the north at speeds from 20 to 30 mph...with a few gusts to near 40 mph. In areas of western Oklahoma and western North Texas where precipitation has ended...blowing and drifting snow may continue to reduce visibility.
