Well it look like Ike is most definitely making a visit here in Sugar Land SW of Houston. I still have a few more things to do outside that I need to get done by 10 a.m. and then do the rest inside. We all ready ran out of emergency ice cream supplies but I still have chocolate chip cookies left so we should make do..
Yesterday was a surprisingly calm day. Nowhere near the traffic on State Hwy 6 like we had for 3 days during Rita. Not too many houses boarded up in our neighborhood. We are 70 miles from the coast and 70 feet elevation so wind will be our problem.
I will post another blog after I finish getting everything set up and nailed down and put away and whatever else I need to do.
